Rich Miller
Rich Miller has 40 years of practical and hands on experience with Animal Waste and Equipment to handle it. Starting out at Better-Bilt Manufacturing in Galva, IL provided plenty experience back in the day, that confinement operations began. He moved to Minnesota and bought Balzer Manufacturing. Taking a business that was about ready to shut its doors, to a popular Tanker Manufacture that continues today. He left Balzer in 2005 and started Doda USA with the Doda Family from Italy in 2007, developing that business until he left in 2011. Rich then began working in the Drag Hose industry. Even back in about 1989 it was obvious to Rich that the Drag Hose Industry was the future. He did his research and found Mandal Hose Company from Mandal, Norway. He traveled to Mandal’s and entered Balzer into an agreement for the sale of Mandal Hose in the Ag Market for North America.
Recognizing the role that Custom Applicators and Drag Hose Systems would play in larger Livestock Operations, he searched for the best of the Drag Hose, Main Line, Couplers, and Accessories to complement the growing number of Equipment Manufacturers in the industry.
Today Rich prides himself on helping Custom Applicators as well as livestock operations that use Drag Hose as their chosen means of handling their manure. There are many options to choose from today, and understanding the role that Fluid Delivery plays in systems is critical. Rich will put together a Performance Report for interested customers that will help them avoid common mistakes that happen when upgrading equipment or putting together a Drag Hose System.
Hunter McVietty
Hunter McVietty brings an expansive set of skills to RJ Miller Hose Solutions LLC. In 2015 he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business-Computer Management and Information Systems at Southern Illinois University. From there he has gone on to work as a Software Engineer and later pursued a role as Director of Operations at an event and production company in St. Louis, Missouri. The technical and managerial proficiency Hunter provides to our company allows for the life cycle of our business process to flow seamlessly.
